HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Immaculata men's soccer played their first conference match of the season on Saturday, with the final score being a scoreless draw with the Centenary University Cyclones.
The Mighty Macs are 1-8-1 for the season. They are 0-0-1 in AEC play.
HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST CENTENARY (N.J.)
- The Cyclones saw the first shots of the game, which were either missed or saved by Luca Greppellini. The half was relatively quiet for both sides. Immaculata earned multiple corner kicks. The first 45 minutes came to a close with no score.
- Out of the locker room, Carlos Cano was Immaculata's main offensive option for a few possessions. He attempted three consecutive shots, but all were saved. Michael Prall's two attempts were met with the same fate. Although both teams continued to fire away, the defenses kept them in the match. Greppellini recorded a save in the 90th minute to prevent a last-second Centenary comeback. The match concluded with a 0-0 final.
