Women's Cross Country is Ready to Compete in the Atlantic East Conference Championships on Saturday

WHAT TO KNOW
  • The Immaculata University women's cross-country team is set to compete in the 2025 Atlantic East Conference Championships on Saturday in Milton, N.Y.
  • his marks the second consecutive year the conference meet will be held at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome in Milton, N.Y.
 
PRE-CHAMPIONSHIP POLL
  • Marymount is the favorite to win the team championship with 47 points and five first-place votes. Marywood is second with 43 points, and two first-place votes. Immaculata is third with 39 points and one first-place vote. Gwynedd Mercy is fourth with 27 points, Pratt is fifth with 22 points, and Neumann is seventh with 20 points. Centenary and Saint Elizabeth round out the poll with 17 and eight points, respectively.
  • The Mighty Macs, who finished as the AEC Runner-Up in 2024, will look to build on strong performances throughout the season.
 
LAST OUTING AT THE ROWAN BORDER BATTLE
  • The Immaculata women's cross-country team finished 29th overall at the Rowan Border Battle on October 18.
  • Aubrey Donahue finished 57th overall with a program-record time of 22:57.5, surpassing her previous record of 23:54.0 set at the 2024 Border Battle.
 
MIGHTY MAC NOTES
  • Aubrey Donahue is projected to be in competition for the AEC individual championship. Donahue was the AEC individual champion and AEC Runner of the Year in 2023. She was the AEC Runner-up in 2024. In her last race Donahue finished 57th overall with a program-record time of 22:57.5 at the Rowan Border Battle.
  • Jayla Gross finished the Rowan Border Battle with a personal best time of 25:03.3.
  • Jacquie Leone finished the Rowan Border Battle with a personal best time of 25:43.7.
  • Breanne Dymek finished the Rowat Border Battle with a personal best time of 25:51.6.
  • Madeline McBride finished the Rowan Border Battle with a personal best time of 30:49.5.
  • Kimberly Alvarez finished the Rowan Border Battle with a time of 31:46.7.
  • Samantha Rivera finished the Rowan Border Battle with a time of 32:55.8.
 
UP NEXT
The Immaculata women's cross-country team will return to action on Saturday, November 15, for the NCAA Division III Metro Regional Championships, hosted by Rowan University at Dream Park in Logan Township, N.J.
