IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata men's soccer team fell to Gwynedd Mercy 3-1 on Saturday at Draper Walsh Stadium.
Jonathan Olaleye scored for Immaculata in the game's 45th minute to give Immaculata a 1-0 lead they took into the halftime break. Gwynedd Mercy scored three goals in the second half to earn a 3-1 win.
With the loss Immaculata falls to 2-12-2 overall, and they are 1-3-2 in Atlantic East Conference play, while Gwynedd Mercy improves to 6-10 overall and they are 2-4-0 in Atlantic East Conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST GWYNEDD MERCY
- Jonathan Olaleye opened the scoring with a left footed goal in the 45th minute of the first half assisted by Joseph D'Adamo as Immaculata led 1-0 at half time.
- Gwynedd Mercy wasted little time, leveling the score in the 48th minute with a goal by Jackson Stuetz.
- Gwynedd Mercy took the lead in the 52nd minute with a goal by Colin Stocklin and extended their lead in the 79th minute with a goal by Luke O'Donnell.
- Gwynedd Mercy would go on to close out the win 3-1.
