HADDONFIELD, N.J.- The Atlantic East Conference announced its Weekly Awards on Monday afternoon, with four Immaculata University student athletes earning spots on the Weekly Honor Roll for their performances in men's cross-country, field hockey, women's soccer, and men's tennis.
Connor Kakowski (Delran, N.J. / Delran) represents the men's cross-country team on the honor roll after leading the Mighty Macs at the Rowan Border Battle. Kakowski clocked a time of 29:08.6 in the 8K, just 1.6 seconds off his personal best, finishing 269th overall with a 5:51 per mile pace. His consistency stood out in one of the season's most competitive meets.Â
Maria Berenato (Hammonton, N.J. / Hammonton) earned honor roll recognition in field hockey after scoring the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over Manhattanville on Friday. Berenato's second-quarter strike broke the deadlock and set the tone for a strong conference opener.
Â
Gabby Palladino (Blackwood, N.J. / Sterling) was named to the honor roll for women's soccer following a standout performance against Pratt. Palladino recorded two goals, seven total shots, and five shots on target, showcasing her offensive threat throughout the match.
Â
Patrick Arnold (Bala Cynwyd, Pa. / Devon Prep) made the honor roll in men's tennis. Despite a narrow team loss to Penn State Abington, Arnold earned a 6-0, 6-3 victory at No. 2 singles and paired for a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles, contributing two of Immaculata's three match points.
