Women's Soccer Falls to Wilson College in Non-Confrence Match Up

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The Immaculata women's soccer team (2-2) was back in action on Saturday, when they traveled to play at Wilson College (3-0-1). Immaculata fell to Wilson 2-0. It was the Phoenix fourth clean sheet of the season.

How it Happened
  • Wilson College wasted little time scoring in the game's second minute on a goal by Halley Shaffer assisted by Julia Elliott.
  • Rachel McNamee registered Immaculata's first shot in the game's fifth minute that was saved by Wilson's goalkeeper Rebecca Marakovitz.
  • The Phoenix would double their lead in the games 12th minute on a goal by Maddy Miller assisted by Blanca Sommers.
  •  The first half would end with Wilson holding a 2-0 lead on the scoreboard, and a 9-2 advantage on shots and 4-2 advantage in shots on goal.
  • Immaculata goalkeeper Emily Guthier made four saves in the first half of play.
  • Rachel McNamee had two additional shots on goal in the second half that were saved by Wilson's goalkeeper Erin Roszkowiak.
  • Wilson would go on to earn the 2-0 win.
