COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.- The Immaculata women's volleyball team (2-8) fell to Ursinus College (7-4) in a non-conference match up at Ursinus on Tuesday night. Ursinus took the match 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, and 25-9).
Mia Esposito led Immaculata with five kills, and one service ace. Christina Lenzo added 10 assists, and Dinah Stabinski added 10 digs for the Mighty Macs.

How it Happened

• In the first set Immaculata jumped out to a quick 3-1 lead with Calissa Araujo getting a kill.
• Ursinus responded with a six-point run to take a 7-3 lead. Ursinus responded with another seven-point run as they went on to take set one 25-14.
• In the second set, Ursinus quickly opened an 8-1 lead. Mia Esposito broke up the Ursinus run with a kill and followed it with a service ace to close the score to 8-3.
• Immaculata would get additional kills from Esposito and Mel Mann in the set.
• Ursinus won the second set 25-11.
• Immaculata opened set three with a Kill by Mel Mann to take an early 1-0.
• Immaculata would get kills from Mia Esposito and Eliana Szatkowski to tie the score at 3-3.
• Ursinus would take control of the third set with a six-point run to lead 10-5.
• The Bears would go on take set three 25-9 and the match 3-0.
