THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata women's soccer team (2-4-1) enters the match coming off their 1-1 draw against Lancaster Bible on September 14th. Freshman Jocelyn Shuster scored her first goal as a Mighty Mac, and goalkeeper Emily Guthier made nine saves to help earn the draw.
  • Rosemont (2-3) enters the match after defeating Saint Elizabeth's 2-0 on September 14th. The Ravens have lost to Alfred State, Albright, and Gwynedd Mercy. They have wins over Saint Elizabeth's and Penn State Schuylkill.
 
MIGHTY MAC NOTES  
SCOUTING ROSEMONT
  • Freshman forward Erin McLaughlin leads the Ravens with three goals and one assist, including scoring both goals in their 2-0 win over Saint Elizabeth's.
  • Junior midfielder Sarah Warner has two goals and one assist, scoring both her goals in the team's win over Penn State – Schuylkill.
  • Sophomore midfielder Rena Kotsedakis, freshman forward Anna Nicosia, and senior forward Cassidy Smith each have one goal for the Ravens.
  • Freshman goalkeeper Amanda Ritter has seen the most time in net for the Ravens this season appearing in four out of five games and playing 225 minutes. Ritter has made 13 saves on 25 shots faced.
 
WEEKLY HONORS
  • Emily Guthier was named to the Atlantic East Conference women's soccer Weekly Honor Roll for the third consecutive week. Guthier had a combined 29 saves over three games for the Immaculata. Guthier had 11 saves vs Eastern University on September 10th. Guthier had nine saves vs New Jersey City University on September 12th and had nine saves while helping Immaculata earn a 1-1 draw with Lancaster Bible on September 14th.
  • Jocelyn Shuster was named to the Atlantic East Conference women's soccer weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon. Shuster scored her first collegiate goal in the game's 44th minute to put Immaculata up 1-0 as the Mighty Macs earned a 1-1 draw with Lancaster Bible on September 14th.
