Immaculata Field Hockey Welcomes Keystone to Draper Walsh Stadium this Afternoon

IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team (4-1) will face a quick turnaround after Friday's 4-0 win at Lancaster Bible, as they welcome Keyston College (1-3) to Draper Walsh Stadium this afternoon for a 2:00 PM game.

SERIES HISTORY
  • This will be the 12th match between these schools, in a series that began in 2008.
  • Immaculata is 4-7 all-time vs Keystone.
 
LAST MEETING
  • Megan Donegan recorded a hat trick and assisted on the other goal scored by Brittany Richards as Immaculata defeated Keystone College 4-2 in the schools last meeting on October 10, 2017, at Draper Walsh Stadium.
  • Immaculata goalkeeper Randie Kuhar made nine saves for the Mighty Macs.
 
MIGHTY MAC NOTES
  • Immaculata has won their last three games and has recorded shutouts in back-to-back games.
  • The field hockey team is off to the program's best start since 2016 when they started the season 4-1 as well.
  • Alexis Andrada got back in the scoring column against Lancaster Bible scoring her sixth and seventh goals of the season. Friday's game was her third multi-goal game of the season.
  • Della George got on the scoresheet for the fourth time in five games, with a goal and an assist.
  • Emilyn Bivens scored the first goal of her college career in the third quarter of the game with Lancaster Bible.
  • Goalkeepers Julia Levase and Ashley Finkbiner combined to earn Immaculata's third shutout of the season. Julia Levase earned her 20th career win adding to her program record total.
  • The Immaculata defensive core held the Chargers to just two shots, and no shots on goal in Friday's win.
 
SCOUTING KEYSTONE COLLEGE
  • The defending United East Conference Champions enter Saturday's match 1-3 on the season.
  • The Giants fell to Marywood 2-0 in their season opener on September 4th. They fell to Misericordia 2-1 in OT on September 6th and lost to Scranton 2-0 on September 9th. The Giants were 2-0 winners over Ramapo in their home opener on September 11th.
  • Keystone has been led offensively by senior midfielder Jordan Vandermark with two goals.
  • Sophomore forward Breanna Landers scored one goal.
  • Graduate midfielder Angelina Morley had two assists, and junior forward Phaedra Day had one assist.
  • Senior goalkeeper Hannah Osbahr has played all four games for the Giants and has 30 saves on 41 shots faced.

  • The Immaculata field hockey team will be back in action on Wednesday, September 18th when they visit Widener University for a 7:00 pm match.
