IMMACULATA,PA.- The Immaculata men's lacrosse team dropped their Atlantic East Conference battle with Gwynedd Mercy by a score of 14-10.

Connor Teears got the scoring started with a goal just under five minutes into the first period on a feed from
David Azzarano. The Griffins would score the next two goals to take an early 2-1 lead.
Bailey Manion would regain the lead with back-to-back goals while Teears picked up an assist to end the first with a 3-2 lead.

Azzarano would open up the second period with a goal stretching the lead to 4-2. Gwynedd Mercy would score three straight goals to take a 5-4 lead. Teears would find the back of the net once again to knot things up at 5-5. Gwynedd would take the lead heading into the break with 28 seconds remaining in the first half.

Manion,
Nicholas DeFilippo, Teears and Azzarano would tally the Mighty Macs four second half goals. Azzarano led the way with seven points, tallying a pair of goals and five assists. Manion added four goals and an assist. Teears had four points of his own with three goals and an assist.

As a team, Immaculata picked up 33 groundballs and caused four turnovers while winning 13 faceoffs.
Matthew Ludlow made 12 saves in goal for the Mighty Macs.

Max Cummings and graduate student
David Azzarano for their dedication and hard work towards the program throughout their careers.

The Immaculata men's lacrosse team is back in action on Wednesday, April 17
th when they travel to Neumann University for a 4:00 PM Atlantic East Conference matchup.
