UNION, N.J.- The Immaculata field hockey team was back in action in Union N.J. Saturday afternoon. Julia Levase made eight saves in goal for Immaculata. Kean was able to score off a rebound in the second quarter to defeat Immaculata 1-0.

How it Happened

• Kean got things started in the second minute of the game with a shot that was blocked by the Immaculata defensed and resulted in Kean be awarded a penalty corner.
• Off the corner Julia Levase made her first save of the game, as the game remained scoreless after the first quarter.
• In the game's 24^th minute on a penalty corner insert Kean got a pair of shots back-to-back, that Julia Levase stopped. Adrianna Duda was able to put the rebound of the second save into the cage to give the Cougars the 1-0 lead.
• Immaculata was able to fend off three additional penalty corners in the second quarter with Levase making two more saves as the first half ended with Kean holding a 1-0 lead.
• In the game's 38^th minute, Immaculata had its best chance of the game when Della George got a shot on goal off a penalty corner that was stopped by Kean goalkeeper Daniella Maresca.
• Immaculata defended two Kean penalty corners in the third quarter.
• In the fourth quarter, Kean generated four shots, and two on goal that were saved by Levase.
• Kean was able to hold off Immaculata to close out the 1-0 win.
