THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata Field Hockey Team (6-7, 1-0 AEC) welcomes Cedar Crest College to Draper Walsh Stadium on Monday night. Immaculata won both their games last week, defeating Goucher 2-1 in Baltimore on October 8th, and defeating Manhattanville 2-0 at home on Saturday on Senior Day and their Atlantic East Conference opener.
  • This is the Mighty Macs final non-conference game of the season.
  • Cedar Crest (3-10, 0-2 UEC) enters Monday's game after falling to Wilson College on Friday at home 3-1 in a United East Conference game. The Falcons have dropped their last five games.
THE SERIES
  • This will be the 15th meeting between these two schools in their series that began back in 2006.
  • Immaculata is 11-3 all-time vs Cedar Crest.

MIGHTY MAC NOTES
  • Alexis Andrada scored her team high eighth goal of the season vs Manhattanville on Saturday. Andrada has now tied Ashley O'Donnell's record of goals in a season by a freshman that was set in 2011. Andrada also has 17 points which is three behind O'Donnell's freshman points record of 20 set in 2011.
  • Della George picked up the assist on Andrada's goal vs Manhattanville for her team high fifth assist. George continues to be a factor on both the offensive and defensive ends for the Mighty Macs.
  • Kailey Mayoros scored her second goal of the season on Saturday, to extend the Mighty Macs lead to 2-0 early in the fourth quarter. Mayoros and fellow sophomore Emilyn Bivens are tied for third in scoring with two goals each.
  • Madalyn Bonner had a strong week for Immaculata with two defensive saves in Immaculata's 2-1 win at Goucher on October 8th and played a vital role in limiting Manhattanville to just two shots on goal and only one penalty corner on Saturday.
  • Julia Levase earned her third shutout of the season against the Manhattanville giving her 13 for her career. Levase made seven saves in the win over Goucher on October 8th.
  • Immaculata is averaging 8.7 shots per game, and their opponents are averaging 14.8 shots per game.
 
SCOUTING CEDAR CREST
  • Sophomore Sydney Jeker with four goals and two assists, and junior Olivia Wanner with four goals and one assist lead the Falcons offense.
  • Junior Avery Daku with two goals and two assists, and junior Kylah Demarest one goal and two assists figure in the offense for the Falcons.
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Shelby Heater has played all 13 games for the Falcons and is 3-10 with a 2.92 goals-against average and has two shutouts.
  • Cedar Crest is averaging 6.3 shots per game, and their opponents are averaging 19.5 shots per game.

  • The Immaculata field hockey team will be back in action on Saturday, October 19th when they travel to play at Marywood at 1:00 pm in an Atlantic East Conference game.
