THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata women's soccer team (5-7-1, 1-1-0 AEC) enters Saturday's match looking to bounce back from Wednesday 3-1 conference loss to Marymount.

  • Rachel McNamee continues to lead the Immaculata offense with five goals including two game winners. Despite not getting a point on the play, McNamee's cross from the left corner caught the crossbar, led to Immaculata's goal on the play as Carly Coleman scored on the rebound of the shot from Marissa Birmingham.
  • Carly Coleman scored her third goal of the season on Wednesday evening to pull Immaculata back within a goal in the second half. The goal was Coleman's second goal in Atlantic East competition.
  • Marissa Birmingham picked up her second assist of the season against Marymount and continued her strong play on both sides of the field.
  • Gabby Paladino had a pair of shots on goal for Immaculata, on Wednesday night. Palladino is tied for the team lead in assists with Sam Terry with four each.
  • Emily Guthier continued her strong play in goal this season, making nine saves, including some close in chances to help keep Immaculata in the game vs Marymount.
  • Senior midfielder Kelsey Caldarelli has been a strong presence in the midfield for Immaculata this season.
  • Immaculata got important minutes off the bench from Natalene Clemson, Addison Yackel, Jenna Hayes, and Mia Perrone in Wednesday's game.
  • Immaculata is averaging 11.8 shots per game, while their opponents are averaging 16.1 shots per game.
