GLENSIDE,PA.-  The Immaculata field hockey team fell to Arcadia by a score of 8-0.
 
Arcadia opened the scoring in the 2^nd minute of gametime to take an early 1-0 lead. The Knights would never look back as they would score in the 10^th, 14^th, 18^th, 19^th and 28^th minutes of play to take a 6-0 lead into the half.  They would add two more goals in the second half in the 43^rd and 50^th minutes.
 
Senior Lauren Vandenbraak had the only Mighty Macs shot on goal, while Ryann Shemeley had two shots and Gina Moreno had one of her own.
 
The Immaculata field hockey team is back in action on Wednesday, October 4^th when they open Atlantic East Conference play at Draper Walsh Stadium taking on St. Mary's College of Maryland at 4:00 PM.
