OWINGS MILLS, MD.- The Immaculata field hockey team traveled to Stevenson University for a non-conference matchup Monday evening. Stevenson would go on to take the match by a score of 3-0.

Stevenson would jump out to an early 2-0 lead in the first quarter with goals in the 7
th and 12
th minute of action. The score would remain 2-0 heading into the break. The Mustangs would add a 3
rd goal in the 39
th minute of play.

The Immaculata offense was quiet through three quarters, with
Lauren Vandenbraak tallying the Mighty Macs lone shot through the first 45 minutes of play. A defensive save by a Mustang player would keep Vandenbraak from finding the back of the net.

In the fourth quarter, the Mighty Macs tallied five shots on goal, with
Gabrielle O'Brien leading the way with two, as well as Vandenbraak,
Della George, and
Gina Moreno all adding one. The Mustangs would use three more defensive saves in the period to prevent the Mighty Macs from cutting into their lead.

The Immaculata field hockey team is back in action on Wednesday, September 27
th when they travel to Allentown to take on Cedar Crest College for a 6:00 PM start.
