IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team defeated Eastern University 9-0 in a non-conference match on Thursday afternoon for their first win of the spring season.
Immaculata began the match taking all three doubles matches to take an early 3-0 lead. The team of 
Annamarie Degnan and 
Pamela Kontaras won the first doubles match 8-1. 
Delaney Brown and Katie Garner won the second doubles match 8-3, and 
Jenna Muttik and 
Audrey Keen won the third doubles match 8-3.
In singles action. 
Annamarie Degnan won the first singles match 6-2, 6-3. 
Pamela Kontaras won the second singles match 6-2, 6-1. 
Delaney Brown won the third singles match 6-0, 6-3. 
Jenna Muttik won the fourth singles match 6-3, 6-3. 
Katie Gardner won the fifth singles match 6-0, 6-0, and 
Sydney Mehaffey won the sixth singles match 6-4, 6-1 to close out the 9-0 win for the Mighty Macs.

The Immaculata women's tennis team will be back in action on Sunday, April 2
nd when travel to play at Albright College in a non-conference match at 1:00 PM.
