IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata men's lacrosse team defeated Cairn University by a score of 16-0 in Saturday's non-conference match up at Draper Walsh Stadium.

The Mighty Macs started the party early, with senior
David Azzarano tallying his first goal of the day just 12 seconds into the contest.Azzarano would add another goal in the 2
nd period to go along with an assist. The contest saw nine different Immaculata players find the back of the net.

Joseph Biuso led the attack with four goals and one assist,
Bailey Manion added four assists and one goal. Freshman
Matthew Frame recorded his first career goal as a Mighty Mac, he would later go on and add two more to the box score to finish with three on the day.

Robbie Wishart,
Connor Teears,
Ben Wesolowski,
Nicholas DeFilippo, and
Anthony Inserra all scored for the Mighty Macs throughout the afternoon. Senior faceoff specialist
Tyler Hoagland had an .857 faceoff win percentage throughout the day.

The Mighty Mac defense was phenomenal throughout, headlined by 16 caused turnovers and 39 groundballs as a unit. Immaculata recorded the program's first ever shutout, where goalkeepers

The Immaculata men's lacrosse team will be back in action on Wednesday, March 1
st when they travel to Alvernia University for their first road test of the early season.
