READING,Pa.- The Immaculata men's lacrosse team dropped their away matchup with Alvernia University by a score of 8-7.
 
A trio of Mighty Macs, Bailey Manion, Connor Teears, and Anthony Inserra each found the back of the net twice in the contest. David Azzarano scored the other Immaculata goal in the game. Azzarano, Inserra and Manion all assisted on goals scored.
 
Trailing 5-2 at halftime, the Macs climbed their way back into the game cutting it to 6-4 heading into the final quarter of action. Immaculata outscored the Golden Wolves three goals to two in the fourth but the comeback attempt was not enough as their final attempt to tie up the contest struck the post.  
 
The Immaculata men's lacrosse team is back in action on Saturday, March 4^th at Draper Walsh Stadium where they host Kean University at 1:00 P.M.
