IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata University women's basketball team fell to Washington College 59-48 on Saturday afternoon.
Washington College opened a quick 6-0 lead in the first quarter. Immaculata would used three-pointers from
Tessa Liberatoscioli and
Abigail Boyer to climb back into the game. Washington College would hold a 16-10 lead at the end of the first quarter. Washington College would extend their lead in the second quarter to 13 points. Immaculata would cut the lead down to six but trailed 29-20 at the half.
Immaculata would cut the Washington College led to six again in the third quarter but were unable to trim the lead further. Washington College led 43-37 after the third quarter and went on to take the game 59-48.
Immaculata was led by junior
Abigail Lentowski' s 13-point, eight rebound and three steal effort, and senior
Tessa Liberatoscioli's double-double performance, with 11-points, ten rebounds and two steals. Senior
Morgan Falcone scored ten points and added two steals, and junior
Abigail Boyer scored seven points.
Washington College was able to use their height advantage to control the game in the paint, outscoring Immaculata 34-8 in the paint.

th when they travel to Delaware Valley University for a non-conference match-up at 6:00 PM.
