IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata women's soccer team dropped their Atlantic East Conference matchup to Centenary University by a score of 2-1.

Prior to the match, the program honored their five seniors,
Hannah Phillips,
Nicole Winouski,
Jessica Gindle,
Jules Carter and
Siera Cruz for their hardwork and dedication to the women's soccer program over the last four years.

Centenary got on the board early in the contest and never looked back, jumping out to a 1-0 lead in the 12
th minute of play. They would extend their lead in the 34
th minute to 2-0 which would hold heading into halftime. Junior
Rachel McNamee would get Immaculata on board in the 65
th minute when she beat the goalie with a shot to the top corner of the net to cut the Cyclones lead in half.

Immaculata would out shoot Centenary in the contest, tallying 18 shots with 10 on goal compared to the Cyclones 10 shots with five on goal. They would also draw more corners, with 10 compared to four for the visitors.

Hannah Phillips had four shots on goal, while Gindle and McNamee each had two.

The Immaculata women's soccer team is back in action on Wednesday, October 11
th when they host Stevenson University in a non-conference matchup at Draper Walsh Stadium beginning at 4:00 PM.
