IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata women's soccer team dropped their non-conference matchup with the Stevenson University by a score of 2-1.

Stevenson struck first finding the back of the net in the 8
th minute of action to jump out to a 1-0 lead. The score would hold for the remainder of the first half.

Jessica Gindle would provide the equalizer for the Mighty Macs in the 52
nd minute of play with her first goal of the year on an assist from
Hannah Phillips. Both teams would battle back and forth for the next 30 minutes of gametime playing stout defense to remain deadlocked at 1-1.

Stevenson would take a 2-1 lead for good with a 2 on 1 break in the 85
th minute. Immaculata tallied five shots on goal with five different players providing one a piece.

Kelsey Caldarelli and Gindle would each have a SOG. Senior
Siera Cruz picked up the start in net and made nine saves in the contest to keep the Mighty Macs in the match.
