IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team dropped their regular season finale with #12 ranked Kean University by a score of 7-0.
 
Immaculata played sound defense in the first period, keeping the Cougars offense off the board. The Cougars would jump out to a 1-0 lead in the 16^th minute of play. They would extend their lead to 3-0 with a pair of goals in the 27^th minute. They would head into halftime up 4-0 after adding an additional goal in the 28^th minute.
 
The Cougars would add goals in the 33^rd, 35^th and 49^th minutes to stretch their lead to 7-0.
 
The Mighty Macs goalie duo Julia Levase and Ashley Finkbiner faced 31 shots on the evening, with 26 of them being on goal. The duo combined for 17 saves while Madalyn Bonner and Rachel Madden each added a defensive save.
 
The Immaculata field hockey team will finish their regular season as the third seed in the Atlantic East Conference Tournament where they will host Gwynedd Mercy University in a 12:00 PM start time at Draper Walsh Stadium on Saturday, October 28^th.
