IMMACULATA, Pa.- Senior forward
Hannah Phillips scored a pair of goals to help lead the Immaculata University women's soccer team (3-6-1) to a 4-1 victory over the Pratt Institute (3-3) inside Draper Walsh Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Rachel McNamee each recorded multi-point performances for the Mighty Macs on Saturday afternoon as Phillips scored a pair of goals, while Winouski ended her day with a goal and an assist, and McNamee had two assists in the victory.
Phillips opened the scoring just over 14 minutes into the match, finishing a pass into the box from fellow senior
Jessica Gindle to give the host Mighty Macs an early 1-0 lead.
In the 28
th minute, Pratt appeared as if it may even the score at 1-1 but
Emily Guthier did an outstanding job of cutting down the angle and making a great sliding save to prevent the chance from turning into the equalizer.
Immaculata controlled the game throughout much of the first half, ending the first half with a 17-6 lead in shots, although the Macs could not find the back of the net as the lead remained at 1-0 heading into the halftime break.
Out of the break, Immaculata continued to apply steady pressure to the Pratt defense, getting a pair of good looks in the 48th and 49th minutes but the chances went wide to keep the score locked at 1-0 in favor of the Mighty Macs.
Winouski doubled the Mighty Macs lead in the 55
th minute after a pass back from
Rachel McNamee which stretched the advantage to 2-0.
Pratt generated a strong chance in the 58
th minute and while the initial chance was managed by Guthier, the rebound chance found the back of the net, cutting the Mighty Mac lead in half.
Off the restart, Immaculata nearly got the goal right back when Gindle sent a shot to the far post, but Pratt keeper, Emma Gaspari was able to make the save and keep the Mighty Mac lead at 2-1.
Pratt continued to apply pressure over the next 10 minutes, getting a pair of shots off in the 61
st and 66
th minutes, but Guthier was equal to the task, making a pair of saves to keep the Cannoneers at bay.
In the 78
th minute,
Mia Perrone scored her first goal as a Mighty Mac, capitalizing on a great ball from Winouski, thus extending the Immaculata lead to 3-1.
Trailing by a pair, Pratt got another good look in the 81
st minute, but Guthier elevated and made her eighth save of the afternoon (her second most this season, trailing only her 10 saves against Haverford on September 26), which kept the visitors off the scoreboard once again.
In the 89
th minute, Phillips scored her second goal of the game, controlling a bouncing ball in the midfield and finding her way around the Pratt defender, which allowed her to take a shot in space and give the Mighty Macs a decisive 4-1 lead in the waning moments of regulation.
Head coach
Zena Tracey's bunch ended the game with a 34-12 lead in shots, including a 16-9 advantage in shots on goal in the wire-to-wire victory. Despite the setback, Pratt did end the contest with a 5-3 lead in corners.
The visiting Cannoneers generated strong chances throughout the afternoon, but Guthier played exceptionally well in goal for the Macs, making eight saves, while her counterpart Gaspari made 12 impressive saves of her own to slow the potent Immaculata offense.
Phillips led the team in shots and shots on goal, finishing with 12 shots, six of which found their way on frame, while Gindle took seven shots of her own, two of which found their way on goal in the victory.

Immaculata returns to action on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. on the road at Marymount in what will be the first match of Atlantic East play for the Blue and White. The Macs return home on Saturday afternoon to host Centenary beginning at 2 p.m. on what will also be Senior Day for the Mighty Macs.
