IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata men's basketball team defeated Gwynedd Mercy 61-60 in an Atlantic East Conference match up.

In a game that saw 19 lead changes and five ties, the Mighty Macs sound defense was the difference maker in the match up.

With Immaculata up by 1 late in the fourth, senior
Tim Schultice put his body on the line and took a charge in the lane to seal the contest for the Macs.

The Mighty Macs were led in scoring by
Keith Farmer with 18 points, Greg Vlassopoulos and
Tim Schultice both added 13 of their own.
Brandon Perez led the way with five assists in the contest,
John Flood added four of his own.

On the defensive end, Farmer,
John Proctor each grabbed six rebounds, and Schultice added two steals and two blocks.

Overall, Immaculata had 17 assists as a team, and shot a season high 47% from behind the arc.

The Immaculata men's basketball team is back in action on Monday, January 30
th when they travel to Marywood University for a 8:00 start in another Atlantic East Conference match up.
