IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata women's field hockey team dropped a thriller at Draper Walsh Stadium to Moravian.
In the first half it was a defensive standoff on both sides with tremendous play from both teams goalies. At the half the score was deadlocked at 0-0. The Macs had shots from
Gianna Gatto (2), Lauren Vanderbraak,
Maddy Edwards, and
Della George.
The lone goal of the match came in the the 49
th minute by the Greyhounds to give them the lead for good. The Macs were led by a fantastic effort on the defensive end but could not catch any breaks on the offensive side of the ball.
The Immaculata women's field hockey team will look to rebound when they travel to Kings College on Saturday.
