BRYN ATHYN,Pa.- The Immaculata men's soccer team got themselves back in the win column taking down Bryn Athyn by a score of 3-0.
The Mighty Macs got the party started early, with senior Oldy Dielce finding the back of the net off of a feed from sophomore Reed Lindsay just over four minutes into the match. Just minutes later, the two switched places, with Lindsay adding on to the Macs lead with Dielce assisting him in the 20th minute of action.
The Macs defense held strong in the first half as they allowed just one shot on goal throughout, with sophomore goalkeeper John Wilhelm providing a save only his only attempt in the first 45 minutes of action. They held their 2-0 lead going into the break.
In the 66th minute of the match, Dielce struck again, finding the upper right corner of the net to tall his second goal of the game to give the Mighty Macs a 3-0 lead with 35 minutes to play.
The Macs received shots on goal from Dielce and Lindsay, as well as from senior John Bohrer, senior Michael Leshko, sophomore Dylan Roberts and freshman Michael Azzarone.Wilhelm provided a clean sheet in net, contributing three saves in the contest.
The Immaculata men's soccer team is back in action on Wednesday October 5th as they play host to Elizabethtown at 7:00 at Draper Walsh Stadium.
