ALLENTOWN, Pa.- The Immaculata women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at Cedar Crest College on Saturday morning. The set scores were 25-16, 25-13 and 25-11.
Isabelle Davis had five kills and Isabella Ridgell had four kills for the Macs. Emily Ettien had 10 assists and four kills for the Macs. Lily Burnette led the Macs with 13 digs on the defensive side.
In the first set Immaculata jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead. Cedar Crest used an eight-point run in the half to take the lead and held on to take the set 25-16.
The second set saw Immaculata get out to an early lead in the set at 4-2. Cedar Crest then used a seven-point run to take control and went on to win the second set 25-13. Cedar Crest would close out the match taking set three 25-11.
The women's volleyball team is back in acton on Saturday, October 1st when they travel to Kings College for a tri-match. The Macs will play King's College at 1:00 PM and the University of Valley Forge at 3:00 PM.
