Box Score BRYN MAWR, Pa.- The Immaculata Women's soccer team returned to action this afternoon visiting Rosemont College. Immaculata controlled the match from the start and the teams played to a 1-1 draw.
In the first half Immaculata came out quickly and applied pressure on the Rosemont goal. The Macs took 13 shots, including 10 shots on goal during the half.
Rosemont opened the scoring in the 14
th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Rosemont would hold onto the lead going into half-time.
In the second half Immaculata resumed their pressure on the Rosemont goal, and in the 47
th minute
Kristen Guthier evened the score at one apiece on an assist from
Rachel McNamee. The Mighty Macs continued pushing for a winner throughout the half, and nearly took the lead in the 65
th minute when a shot from
Jessica Gindle hit the post. Rosemont was able to hold the Macs off the board and the game ended in a draw.
The Mighty Macs spent a majority of the match in the Rosemont end with a 25 to 4 advantage in shots on goal and a 10-1 advantage in corners in corner kicks.

Immaculata is back in action on Wednesday, September 21
st when they return to Draper Walsh Stadium to play Eastern University. The contest is scheduled to start at 4:00 P.M.
