BALTIMORE,Md.- The Immaculata men's soccer team fell to Goucher College 2-1 in today's non-conference match up.  

It was a busy first half for sophomore goalie Ryan Straub as he had to fend off a Goucher offensive attack, providing five saves. On the offensive end, the Mighty Macs offense mustered up just three shots on the half.  

After the half, the Macs were able to find the back of the net with a goal in the 66th minute by sophomore Matthew Kirkpatrick to tie the game up 1-1. Josh Fonder tallied the Mighty Macs other shot on goal in the match.

Ryan Straub continued his busy day in net adding seven more saves to mark his game high twelve.  

In the 89th minute, the Gophers were able to score the winning goal to take a 2-1 victory over the Macs. The Mighty Macs late pursuit for the equalizer came up short, pushing their record to 3-2-2 on the young season.  

The Immaculata men's soccer team returns to action on Wednesday, September 21st as they travel to Camden, NJ to take on Rutgers Camden in another non-conference match up.
