RADNOR, Pa. – The Immaculata men's lacrosse team dropped its Atlantic East Conference opener against Cabrini 22-6 on Saturday.
 
The Cavaliers shut the Mighty Macs out in the first quarter, scoring six goals on the period. Two minutes into the second quarter, Steve Long broke the ice, scoring unassisted to get the Macs on the board. The goal would be the lone goal on the half for the Mighty Macs, however, as the score stood at 17-1 at the half.
 
Bailey Manion scored the first goal of the half for the Macs in a man-up situation to cut into the Cavaliers' lead. The Mighty Macs then scored four goals over the course of the fourth quarter, as the Macs dropped the contest 22-6.
 
The Mighty Macs were led offensively by Steve Long, who scored three goals. Bailey Manion scored two goals and one assist on the day while Mac Frayler picked up one goal on the day.
 
The Macs will return to action on Wednesday as they host Marywood.
