ORLANDO, Fl. - The Immaculata women's tennis team concluded its spring break trip on Friday, dropping their match against the University of Northwester (Mn.) 9-0.
Jessica Dougherty and
Pamela Kontaras paired up for the Macs in first doubles, dropping the set 8-4.
Annamarie Degnan and
Kelly O'Brien, meanwhile, lost second doubles 8-2 while
Jenna Muttik and
Autumn Barnard lost third doubles 8-2.
In singles, Degnan dropped her first singles contest with scores of 6-4 and 6-0. Dougherty then lost second singles 6-2, 6-2 while Kontaras dropped third singles 6-1, 6-1. O'Brien also lost fourth singles 6-2, 6-2 while
Audrey Keen dropped fifth singles 6-0, 6-0. Muttik closed out the day for the Macs, dropping sixth singles with 6-4 and 6-3 decisions.
The Mighty Macs will return to Pennsylvania for their next match as they travel to Reading on Friday, March 18
th for a match against Penn State Berks.
