GRANTHAM, Pa – The Immaculata men's volleyball team dropped their contest against Messiah on Thursday evening with a 3-0 sweep.
 
The Falcons took a quick took a quick 5-0 lead over the Macs to kick off set one and did not look back, claiming set one by a score of 25-8.
 
The Macs found themselves down 6-4 to start set two before the Falcons slowly began to increase their lead. They attempted to cut the Falcon's lead off at 15-7, but were unsuccessful as the Falcons took set two 25-10.
 
The Mighty Macs attempted to rally in set three but found themselves down 14-8 and could not recover as the Falcons secured the sweep with a 25-16 final score.
 
Senior Garrett Pepper led the Mighty Macs offensively on the contest, recording four kills and one ace on the game.
 
The Macs return to Alumnae Hall on Sunday as they host Penn State Behrend and Rosemont for a tri-match. Game one between the Macs and the Nittany Lions is scheduled to start at 11:00 A.M.
