COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.- The Immaculata men's basketball team dropped their non-conference match up with Ursinus on Saturday afternoon by a score of 73-49.
In the first half the game started slowly with neither team scoring until
Tyler Tillery hit a pair of free throws 3:44 into the half. Immaculata scored the first six points of the game, until Ursinus finally scored with 15:03 remaining in the half. The first half saw the lead change hands three times, and the game was tied three times.
Brandon Perez hit a jumper to pull closed the Ursinus lead to 23-21 with :27 left in the half. Ursinus would score at the buzzer and complete the three-point play at the line to take a 26-21 lead into the half time break.
In the second half Ursinus took control of the game scoring the first 12 points of the half to open a 38-21 lead. Ursinus would go on to close out the game winning by a score of 73-49.
Tyler Tillery led Immaculata scoring 13 points, to go along with six rebounds, two block shots, and one steal.
Brandon Perez scored 12 points and added four rebounds, and
Keith Farmer scored nine points for the Macs.
The Immaculata men's basketball team will be back in action on Wednesday, December 14
th when they travel to play at Yeshiva University at 8:00 PM.
