SCRANTON, Pa.- The Immaculata women's volleyball team their match against Marywood 3-0 on Wednesday evening. The Mighty Macs drop to 0-2 in Atlantic East play and are 5-7 overall on the season.
Immaculata took an early 4-2 in set one, before the Marywood used a six-point run to regain the lead. Immaculata used a pair of three-point runs to remain in the set. Marywood then used another six-point run to take the first set 25-17.
In set two Marywood jumped out to a quick 8-2 lead on their way to taking the set 25-16. Marywood would close out the match taking set three 25-14.
The Mighty Macs were led offensive end by
Isabelle Davis with seven kills,
Emily Ettien with 15 assists and
Isabella Ridgell with five service aces. Defensively,
Lily Burnette and
Isabella Ridgell each contributed 10 digs.
Immaculata women's volleyball is back in action on Friday night at Alumnae Hall when the host Gwynedd Mercy University in an Atlantic East Conference match at 7:00 PM.
