HACKETTSTOWN,Nj.- The Immaculata women's volleyball team dropped their Atlantic East Conference match up 3-0 to Centenary.
The first set saw back and forth play for both teams. Centenary jumped out to an early lead, but the Macs came roaring back to take a lead of their own. The Cyclones ended up taking the set with a score of 25-23.
The second set played out similar to the first, with Centenary jumping out to an early lead and the Mighty Macs came storming back, but in the end, the Cyclones took the set 25-22, giving them a two set to zero lead.
The third and final set saw the Cyclones get out to an early lead and never looked back. The Cyclones took the 3rd set with a score of 25-22.
The Mighty Macs were led by
Mia Esposito who had 9 kills, as well as
Isabelle Davis who added 8.
Lily Burnette provided 20 digs for the Macs, while
Ava Thorley contributed nine.
Emily Ettien had 24 assists in the match.
The Immaculata Women's Volleyball team will be back in action on Wednesday, October 26th for a 7:00 start, where they round out Atlantic East Conference play and host Neumann University for senior night.
