EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. – The Immaculata men's soccer team dropped their match against the Wilkes Colonels 3-0 on Saturday. The Mighty Macs now drop to 1-6-1 on the season.
All three goals came in the first half for the Colonels. Andrew Reichard first got the Colonels on the board in the 24
th minute on an assist from Matthew Horwedel. Danny McGinley scored the Colonels' remaining two goals in rapid succession in the 35
th and 40
th minutes. Both goals were assisted by Ryann Marr.
Immaculata was outshot by Wilkes 15-2 in the first half, with five of Wilkes' shots being on goal. The second half favored the Mighty Macs 7-3 in shots taken, but no shots reached the back of the net to break the ice for the Macs.
Sophomore
Justin Hahn recorded two shots with one shot on goal to lead the Mighty Macs offensively.
The Mighty Macs are on the road next on Tuesday, when they travel to Dallas, Pa. for a matchup against Misericordia. First kick is scheduled to take place at 7:00 P.M.
