RADNOR, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team returned to action on Saturday afternoon on the road at Atlantic East rival Cabrini. Immaculata cruised to a 9-0 victory over the Cavaliers on Saturday to remain unbeaten in Atlantic East.
In first doubles,
Caleigh Masterman and
Elizabeth Lipscomb teamed up to take an 8-0 victory while
Morgan Jacob and
Annamarie Degnan took second doubles by the same 8-0 final. Jess Dougherty and
Kelly O'Brien took third doubles by default.
In singles play, Masterman rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 victory in first singles while Jacob took second singles by a 6-0, 6-1 final. In the third spot, Degnan captured her match 6-1, 6-1 while Lispcomb rolled 6-0, 6-0 in the fourth position. Dougherty and O'Brien played fifth and sixth singles for Immaculata winning their matches by default to help Immaculata claim the 9-0 victory.
Immaculata will be back in action next Thursday afternoon vs Neumann beginning at 3:30 p.m.
