DOVER, Del.-The Immaculata field hockey team returned to action on Sunday afternoon against Wesley in what was the Macs season finale. Immaculata battled throughout but Wesley emerged victorious by a final of 1-0 in overtime.
Wesley generated numerous strong scoring opportunities through the 60 minutes of regulation time, but senior goalie
Randie Kuhar was up to the task as she played exceptionally to hold the Wolverines at bay throughout the day, keeping the game scoreless to force overtime.
In the extra session, Wesley broke through with the lone score of the game to escape with a narrow 1-0 victory over the Mighty Macs on Sunday afternoon.
