CHESTERTOWN, Pa. – The Immaculata men's basketball team dropped their game against Washington College (Md.) 84-76 on Tuesday evening. 
Asa Kitchen dropped 21 points on the game to led the Mighty Macs offensively.
 
The first half was a battle as each team was neck-and-neck for the first eight minutes with the scoring sitting at 13-13. Following a jumper from 
Steven Dao, Kitchen sank a three-pointer to give the Mighty Macs an 18-13 advantage. The lead would not last, however, as the score stood 32-32 with 90 seconds to go in the half. Kitchen dropped another three-pointer to as the last points of the half to give the Macs a 35-32 lead.
 
Kitchen led the Macs with 12 points included three three-pointers on the half. 
Keith Farmer led the Macs with six rebounds while 
Brandon McCullough recorded three steals on the half.
 
Four minutes into the second half, Washington tied the game up at 40-40. After that point, they went on a 15-3 run to take a commanding 55-43 lead over Immaculata. While Immaculata attempted to mount a comeback, the could not break through as Washington maintained an eight-point lead as the score stood at 84-76 at the final horn.
 
Kitchen dropped a team-leading four three-pointers on the game while earning 21 points for the Macs. As a team, the Macs shot 29-for-64 (45.3%) from the floor and 9-for-26 (34.6%) from beyond the arc.
 
Immaculata will return to action on Thursday night as they travel to Haverford.
