GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Immaculata field hockey team dropped their match against Gwynedd Mercy 1-0 on Saturday. The Mighty Macs drop to 4-10 with an 0-2 Atlantic East Conference record.
The score remained scoreless through the first half. A defensive grind, neither team managed to record many offensive opportunities with the Griffins recording two shots on the first half while the Macs remained shot-less.
The goal for Gwynedd Mercy came with 11 seconds to go in the third quarter. Kaci Murray scored to give Gwynedd the lead. After a scoreless fourth quarter, the Mighty Macs dropped the contest 1-0.
The Mighty Macs will return to Draper Walsh Stadium on Monday night for a 7:00 P.M. matchup with Misericordia.
