Immaculata, Pa. – The Immaculata women's tennis team lost their match against Ursinus College 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
In doubles action,
Annamarie Degnan and
Pamela Kontaras lost their first doubles match 8-2. Meanwhile,
Jenna Muttik and Audrek Keen dropped second doubles 8-0 and Katien Gardner and
Sydney Mehaffey lost third doubles 8-2.
Degnan dropped her first singles match 6-2, 6-0. In second singles,
Jessica Dougherty dropped her mach by a score of 8-1. In Kell O'Brien, meanwhile lost her fourth singles match 8-0. Kontaras, Muttik, and Keen each lost their respective third, fifth, and sixth singles matches with 6-0, 6-0 sweeps to conclude Ursinus's 9-0 sweep of Immaculata.
The Mighty Macs will return to action this weekend as they compete in the Goucher Invitational on Saturday and Sunday to conclude their fall 2021 schedule.
