LEBANON, Pa. – The Immaculata women's cross country team competed in the LVC Last Chance Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley College on Friday afternoon. The team finished sixth overall while
Emma McNamee was the first to finish for the Macs, finishing 12
th overall with time of 26:19.8.
McNamee shaved 55 seconds off her previous record time of 27:14.3 set at the Coach Caslin Classic.
Nicole Wheeler was next to finish for the Mighty Macs, placing 15
th overall with a time of 26:32.2. Wheeler also set a new personal record as both Wheeler and McNamee finished in under 27 minutes for the first time.
Abigial Sprock and
Maura Leardi were the next pair to finish for the Macs. Sprock placed 40
th overall with a 28:45.9 finish Leardi then finished in 42
nd place with a time of 29:15.8. 50 seconds later,
Peyton Hays finished in 47
th place with a time of 30:06.1.
Emily McGonigle finished 13 seconds later at 30:19.9 for a 50
th place finish.
Lily Swarr and
Olivia Morris closed out the race for Immaculata, taking 57
th and 65
th place, respectively with respective finishes of 31:36.0 and 34:26.9. Every runner finished with new personal bests for Immaculata.
The Mighty Macs will next compete in the Atlantic East Conference Championship next Saturday, October 30
th, in Scranton, Pa.
