ARLINGTON, Va. – The Immaculata women's soccer team allowed two goals late as the Marymount Saints defeated the Mighty Macs 2-0 on Saturday. The Mighty Macs now drop to a 1-11 record overall with a 1-3 record in Atlantic East Conference play.
The first half was a quiet one as neither team managed to accrue many offensive chances. At the half, Immaculata led Marymount 4-2 in shots taken.
The Saints began to get more offensive opportunities in the second half, though they would not be able to score until the 86
th minute. Isabella Lopez then scored to give the Saints the 1-0 lead over the Mighty Macs. Then, 43 seconds later, Sita Nair scored to secure the Saints' 2-0 victory over the Mighty Macs.

Kelsey Caldarelli and Kelli Dombrowski each recorded three shots with respective shots on goal of two and one, respectively. In goal, senior
Brooke Shissler recorded seven saves on the match.
The Mighty Macs will return to action on Wednesday as they host Neumann and honor the 2021 women's soccer senior class. First kick is scheduled to start at 4:00 P.M.
