BRYN MAWR, Pa.- The Immaculata University women's volleyball team was back in action on Saturday morning opposite Bryn Mawr College in the opening game of the Bryn Mawr College Tri-Match. The Macs made short work of their hosts on Saturday morning coming away with a 3-0 victory (27-25, 25-17, 25-18) before facing off against Bryn Athyn in the second match of the day, which Immaculata also captured by a final of 3-0 (25-20, 29-27, 25-23).
How it Happened: Immaculata 3 Bryn Mawr 0
- In the first set, Immaculata raced out to a 12-6 lead in the opening set before Bryn Mawr roared back to a claim a 22-19 lead. Following an Immaculata timeout, the Mighty Macs answered with an 8-3 run to claim the first set by a final of 27-25.
- In the second set, it was Bryn Mawr's turn to race out to a 5-1 lead before Immaculata responded with an impressive run of its own to claim a 9-6 lead. The two teams traded short runs from this point before Immaculata went on a set-clinching run from 17-16 to earn the 25-17 set victory.
- The third set began with the two teams trading points before Immaculata went on a run to open up a 13-6 lead midway through the set. From this point, the two sides resumed trading points and runs as Immaculata earned a 25-18 victory to win the match and improve to 2-1 on the season.
Inside the Box Score:
- Natalie Dependahl led the Macs in kills on the morning with six kills while Aly Lowe registered a team-high nine assists in the victory.
- McKenna Ryan had a strong performance for Immaculata as well as she registered a match-high 26 digs en route to the victory.

- In the opening set, the teams traded runs throughout the set, however, it was a mid-set charge by the Mighty Macs that gave Immaculata a lead that it would never relinquish in the 25-20 victory to open the match with a 1-0 lead.
- The second set was a tightly contested affair once again as 25 points were not enough to determine a victor but Immaculata eventually prevailed by a final of 29-27 to claim a commanding 2-0 lead.
- In the third set, Immaculata roared out to a 6-0 lead before Bryn Athyn responded with a 6-0 run of its own to even the set at 6-6. The two teams traded runs from this point forward before Immaculata closed out the match with a 5-0 run to earn the three-set victory.
Inside the Box Score:
- Devyn Crowder led the Macs in kills in this victory with eight kills while Megan Daugherty and Aly Lowe registered 13 and 12 assists, respectively to lead the Macs in this category.
- Ryan was one of four Mighty Macs to break into double-figures in digs with 23 digs while Dependahl registered 14 digs with Daugherty and Crowder adding 13 and 10 digs, respectively.
- As a team, Immaculata hit .082 on the match led by a solid .333 hitting performance from Daugherty while holding Bryn Athyn to a hitting percentage of just -.024.
