IMMACULATA, Pa.-The Immaculata University women's volleyball team was back in action on Thursday evening opposite the Washington College Shorewomen. Immaculata battled throughout but it was not enough in the 3-0 setback (25-17, 25-18, 25-18).
How it Happened:
- In the first set, Washington College jumped out to an early lead that it would never relinquish en route to the 25-17 first set victory.
- In the second set, Washington College claimed the early lead before a late run by Immaculata made the set close but it was not enough in the 25-18 second set loss.
- In the third set, the two teams traded runs but ultimately it was a late run by Washington College put the match away with a 25-18 third set victory to win the match in straight sets.
Inside the Box Score:
- Natalie Dependahl had a strong performance as she led the Macs in kills with seven kills.
- Aly Lowe turned in a strong performance for the Mighty Macs this evening as well as she led the team in both digs (11) and assists (14) in the setback.

Immaculata will be back in action on Saturday morning at the Penn State Berks trimatch with the first match of the day beginning at 10 a.m. against PSU Berks.
