BALTIMORE, Md.- On the heels of another thrilling OT victory on Tuesday afternoon, the Immaculata University field hockey team was back in action on Thursday afternoon on the road against a former conference rival in the Notre Dame of Maryland Gators. Immaculata used a goal midway through the fourth quarter to earn the 4-3 victory over Notre Dame on Thursday afternoon.

How it Happened:
- In the first quarter, each side had its chances but neither team was able to break through, thus, sending the contest to the second quarter even at 0-0.
- During the second quarter, Colleen Bradley continued her big week with yet another goal this time in the 24th minute to give Immaculata the 1-0 lead midway through the second quarter. Unfortunately, Notre Dame answered back quickly with a pair of goals of its own before the halftime break to claim a 2-1 lead heading to the halftime break.
- In the 35th minute, Theresa Cerruti opened the second half scoring to even the contest at 2-2.
- In the 39th minute, Nicole Vigna used an assist from Willa Thompson to give Immaculata the 3-2 lead before Notre Dame answered back with another goal in the 40th minute to even the score at 3-3.
- In the 50th minute, Willa Thompson scored a goal of her own off a fast break to claim a 4-3 lead with just over 10 minutes to play in the contest, which proved to be enough to lift Immaculata to the 4-3 victory.
- Randie Kuhar had another strong afternoon between the pipes making four big saves for the Mighty Macs en- route to the victory.
Inside the Box Score:
- At the end of contest, Immaculata held a commanding 15-8 edge in shots and an 11-7 edge in shots on goal.
- Notre Dame ended the contest with a 12-6 edge in corners.
Up Next:
Immaculata will be back in action on Saturday afternoon in the Garden State when the Macs visit Kean with that contest set to begin at 1 p.m.
