CHESTER, Pa.-Looking to get on a winning streak following an exciting victory over Albright on Saturday evening, the Immaculata University men's soccer team traveled to Widener on Wednesday evening. Unfortunately, Widener had the upper hand in this matchup as the Pride emerged victorious by a final of 3-0 in 73 minutes as the game was called early due to storms in the area.
 
How it Happened:

• Widener scored the first goal of the game just moments into the first half to give the Pride the early lead, which lasted heading to the halftime break.
• In the second half, Widener added another two goals to claim a 3-0 lead before storms rolled in, which forced the contest into a weather delay with just over 16 minutes to play in regulation, which would eventually end the game due to the storms in the area.
• Garrett Pepper got the start in goal for the Macs and worked hard between the pipes making four saves to attempt to slow the potent Widener offense.

Inside the Box Score:

• Widener ended the contest with a 16-4 advantage in shots including a 7-2 lead in shots on goal.
• The Pride also ended the match with a 6-5 advantage in corner kicks despite a 3-0 advantage in corners for the Macs during the second half of play.
