CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Immaculata University men's volleyball team returned to the court for the first time in two weeks Saturday afternoon at Wilson, dropping the non-conference match to the Phoenix, 3-0.
Garrett Pepper paced the Macs with six kills and tied
Bryce Wiltbank for the team-lead in digs with seven.
Patrick Zeoli logged a team-high three blocks in the effort.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Wilson came out of the gate with a strong first set to take an early advantage in the match, taking the opener 25-12.
-The Macs battled back to secure a second-set lead, but were unable to capitalize and even the match at one apiece, falling 25-19.
-Immaculata kept the pressure on Wilson into the third set, but the Phoenix were able to close out the match in straight sets with another 25-19 triumph in the third.
