MADISON, NJ- The Immaculata men's lacrosse team (0-1) opened their 2019 campaign on the road at FDU-Florham on Saturday afternoon, and after falling into an early hole, the Mighty Macs were unable to recover and dropped the contest, 12-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Macs had a tough start to the game as FDU outscored IU, 3-0, in the first quarter and netted the first two goals of the second to take a 5-0 lead
-Barretta scored the first goal of his collegiate career with three minutes left in the second to make it 5-1, but FDU scored again before the half and led 6-1 at the break
-The second half started well for IU as Barretta scored two goals in the opening minute, both unassisted tallies to cut the deficit to 6-3
-However, Florham scored the next four goals to take a commanding 10-3 lead with 10:34 to go in the game
-Barretta scored before sophomore
Steve Long added his first of the season for the final of 12-5
