RADNOR, Pa.- The Immaculata University women's volleyball team was back in action on Wednesday evening to continue its Atlantic East Conference slate on the road at crosstown rival Cabrini. Immaculata battled throughout but unfortunately Cabrini proved to be too much in the 3-0 setback.

How it Happened:

• In the opening set, Cabrini raced out to an early 12-5 lead, which prompted an Immaculata timeout. Following this timeout, Immaculata answered back with a short run of its own but unfortunately Cabrini prevailed in the opening set by a score of 25-12.
• In the second set, the two teams traded runs throughout the early stages of the set, which led to Immaculata holding a 10-9 lead midway through, unfortunately, Cabrini went on a run from this point capturing the second set 25-13 to claim a commanding 2-0 lead.
• The third set saw Cabrini jump out to a 16-4 lead early in the set en route to a 25-12 set victory, thus, giving the Cavaliers the 3-0 win over the Macs on Wednesday evening.

Inside the Box Score:

• Natalie Dependahl led the way for the Macs this evening with eight kills while Megan Daugherty turned in a team-high eight assists while also registering nine digs in the setback.
• McKenna Ryan ended the match with a match-high 12 digs to lead all players in the setback.

Immaculata will be back in action on Saturday afternoon at Neumann with that contest set to begin at 1 p.m.
