IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata University women's soccer team remained home on Wednesday afternoon to square off against its foe from the 2018 Atlantic East Championship match in the Marywood Pacers. After a scoreless first half, Marywood scored three goals in the second half of play to earn the 3-0 victory over Immaculata on Wednesday night.
How it Happened:
- In the first half, each team had its chances but strong goalie play was the story as the first half was highlighted by a sprawling save from Brooke Shissler in the closing seconds to send the game to break even at 0-0.
- In the second half, Marywood opened the scoring in the 72nd minute before adding another goal on a PK in the 74th minute, which gave the Pacers a 2-0 edge. Marywood added a final goal during the 88th minute of regulation to extend the lead to 3-0 in the final minutes of regulation.
- Shissler worked hard in goal throughout the afternoon making nine big saves while her counterpart made five saves of her own to earn the shutout victory.

- Marywood ended the contest with an 18-9 edge in shots and a 12-5 edge in shots on goal. The Pacers also ended the contest with a 6-4 lead in corner kicks.
